Illustration is a key area when it comes to designing and advertising forms of audio animatronic attractions. Certain areas of these attractions range from arcade restaurant hybrids with animatronic bands such as Chuckâe Cheese or Showbiz Pizza to show stages or theme parks rides, such as the country bear jamboree and Splash Mountain. All of these had illustrators working on designing the beloved character, creating blueprints of the inner systems, or designing the advertisements or merchandise for these attractions.
A big founder of the development of audio animatronics, is Walt Disney with their creations of the Enchanted tiki room, the first show to feature this technology. A well-known imagineer of Disney who worked with the designs was Marc Davis, who helped work on the designs for the enchanted tiki room and the country bear jamboree, located at magic kingdom Florida. Davis was also a prominent animator at Disney studios
